The Case for Argentina

"No country on earth compresses more economic complexity into one destination — and nowhere is that complexity more instructive for the next generation of global leaders."

A Living Business School

Argentina has navigated more economic cycles in 40 years than most countries face in a century. Hyperinflation, currency controls, IMF negotiations, debt restructuring, and a resilient private sector that adapts and innovates despite — because of — the instability.

For MBA students who will lead organizations through uncertainty, there is no better classroom. The theory comes alive the moment they walk into a CFO's office and hear how she manages a dual-currency operation in real time.

Access You Cannot Replicate

Brújula Argentina was founded on one premise: the relationships that open doors for elite MBA programs take years to build and constant cultivation to maintain. We have them.

From Mercado Libre's strategy team to boutique winemakers in Mendoza, from Argentina's leading PE firms to social enterprises working in La Boca — our network is your program's unfair advantage.

What We Build

Every program is engineered, not assembled.

Academic Architecture

We co-design your program with faculty to ensure every site visit, debrief, and cultural activity maps to your learning objectives — not just a calendar of things to do.

C-Suite Company Visits

Not factory tours — substantive dialogues with CEOs, CFOs, and founders who engage candidly because they trust us. We match industries to your cohort's interests and pre-brief executives on your learning goals.

Cultural Immersion

Tango is not enough. We design experiences that reveal Argentine negotiation culture, family business dynamics, the role of social capital, and the texture of daily professional life in Buenos Aires.

End-to-End Logistics

Hotels, ground transport, dietary needs, insurance coordination, 24/7 on-the-ground support. Program directors travel with us knowing every detail is handled — so they can focus entirely on their students.

Our Principles

The philosophy behind every program

Academic Rigor First

We refuse programs that are holidays with business cards. Every element must serve a learning objective defensible to a faculty review committee.

Locally Rooted

Our team is Argentine. We live here, we understand the cultural codes, and we carry the trust of business leaders who would not open their doors to a foreign DMC.

Director Partnership

We treat program directors as intellectual partners, not clients. Your goals shape the design. We push back when something will not work — because your reputation is on the line too.

A Typical Program Arc

Seven days that shift how MBAs think about emerging markets.

1

Days 1–2

Macroeconomic Orientation

Briefings with leading economists and journalists. Students gain a working model of Argentina's economic structure before they enter any company.

2

Days 3–5

Corporate Immersion

4–6 company visits across sectors: multinationals managing currency risk, family conglomerates, tech unicorns, and social enterprises. Evening debriefs with faculty synthesis.

3

Day 6

Mendoza Option

Optional single-day Mendoza extension: winery visits structured as family business case studies. Complements urban program or serves as standalone module.

4

Day 7

Reflection & Integration

Structured closing session — student presentations, faculty synthesis, and a final dinner with Argentine business leaders. Students leave with a framework, not just memories.

Our Darden students described it as the most intellectually demanding week of their MBA — and also the most memorable. The access Brújula provided simply does not exist elsewhere.
